TNT Racing Podiums for 1st iELMS race

Following a busy Friday and Saturday morning in the 6 hours of the Glen, TNT Racing members Scott McIntyre and Benjamin Lindsay switched from GT3 to the HPD for the first race of Season 3 in the iRacing Endurance LeMans Series at Monza. Though not the highest strength of field race for the weekend, the two drivers pushed through the field to secure 3rd place overall by race end.

Scott qualified the car P9 and moved through the order to P5 after three straight stints (2 hours 30 minutes), handing the car off to Benjamin for the next stint. With a clean car and some open track to negotiate, Lindsay held station until the 5th stint, when Scott pushed past P4 to take a stranglehold on a top 5 position for the rest of the race. Lindsay took the last 3 stints home to complete the 6 hour event, passing third and setting the race's fastest lap, being the only car in any split over the weekend to hit the 1:35's.

Lacking preparation and busy with other weekend events, TNT Racing Gold did well to achieve 132 overall points, good for 8th place in the overall standings headed into week two at Nurburgring/WEC. The next race will be the 6th and 7th of July when the Gold team, bolstered by Paul Darling and James Webb will assist in the weekend.
